藏品简介：光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。

光绪元宝是大清光绪年流通大面值货币之首，是我国首批引进海外技术的印发流通货币，对于现今也蕴藏了一定历史意义。北洋造光绪元宝北洋龙洋在中国近代机器铸币史上属一个大系列，其铸期历时甚长（从光绪22年—光绪34年[1896至1908年]），历经十余载，币模几经更替，即使同一铸造年份亦往往由于修模、币材、工艺技术、工厂管理等诸多因素，造成版别异常繁杂。

此币正面以珠圈为界，可分为内外两个部分：珠圈以外，上端为“广东省造”四字，下方为“库平一两”四字，左右两侧各铸四星花;珠圈以内，铸有满、汉文“光绪元宝”四字。背面七尾长须龙生龙活虎、围绕龙纹的是英文字符，这种银币显著特色，做工精致细腻简单大方，目前是市面上不可多得的银元收藏追求重要藏品之一，具有极高的市场价值，值得收藏！

Collection introduction: Guangxu Yuanbao is one of the currency circulating in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. Zhang Zhidong, governor of Hubei Province and Guangdong Province, took the lead in introducing the British coinage machine to cast silver and copper coins, and then the provinces followed suit. A total of 19 provinces and bureaus cast copper coins. In addition to the central household and local provinces, the names of provinces are engraved on the upper edge of the front.

Guangxu Yuanbao is the first currency with large face value circulating in Guangxu, Qing Dynasty. It is the first batch of currency to be issued and circulated by introducing overseas technology in China. It also has certain historical significance for today. Beiyang Longyang, the Yuanbao of Guangxu made by Beiyang, belongs to a large series in the history of modern machine coinage in China. The period of its coinage is very long (from 22nd year of Guangxu to 34th year of Guangxu [1896-1908]). After more than ten years, the coinage has been changed several times. Even in the same year of coinage, it is often complicated due to many factors such as mold repair, coin material, technology, factory management, etc.

The obverse of the coin is divided into two parts: outside the Pearl circle, the four characters of "made in Guangdong Province" are on the top and "Kuping one or two" are on the bottom, with four star flowers on the left and right sides; inside the Pearl circle, there are four characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in Chinese and Manchu. The seven tail long beard dragon on the back is lively and the English characters surround the dragon pattern. This kind of silver coin has remarkable characteristics, exquisite and simple workmanship. At present, it is one of the rare silver coin collections in the market, which pursues the important collection. It has a high market value and is worth collecting!
