光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一,由两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。光绪三十二年(1906年)，清政府在天津成立户部造币总厂，铸造“光绪元宝”银元和“大清银币”。钱面：顶部铸楷体“云南省造”四字，底部铸货币价值“库平三钱六分”，中心直读“光绪元宝”四字” 钱文极为精湛、大气，间架结构平衡舒展，钱币表面的包浆自然，给人一种岁月凝重的沧桑感钱背：正中蟠龙图，左右各一六点花星。此蟠龙图是中国所有龙洋图案银元中，工艺最精湛，雕工最完美，浮雕感最强烈的品种，镜面平整光滑，纹饰的相惯线，显得非常清晰。此枚钱币重约：20.5g,直径约：3.87cm品相较好，字体清晰，形制规整，质地优良，字体笔法流畅，纹饰刻制工细，其色泽自然，不论是文字还是图案，都显得自然细腻，深浅合适，存世稀少，它在灯光下散发出一种淡淡的银光，仿佛带着一股王者的贵气，极具鉴赏及收藏价值。
